Bihar STET Result 2025 to Be Declared Today; Scorecards to Be Available on Official Website

The long wait for lakhs of candidates who appeared for the Bihar Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2025 is set to end today. The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is expected to announce the STET 2025 results on January 5, as confirmed by BSEB Chairman Anand Kishore.

Once declared, candidates will be able to download their scorecards from the official website bsebstet.org. An alternate result link will also be available on bihar-stet.com.

When and Where to Check the Result

According to BSEB officials, the result may be released at any time during the day. No fixed time has been announced. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website for the activation of the Bihar STET Result 2025 link.

To access the scorecard, candidates will need:

  • Roll Number
  • Password created during registration

  1. Visit the official website bsebstet.org
  2. Go to the “Result” section on the homepage
  3. Click on the link titled “Bihar STET Result 2025”
  4. Enter roll number, password, and captcha code
  5. Submit details to view and download the scorecard

Candidates are advised to carefully verify the following details on their scorecard:

  • Candidate’s name
  • Roll number
  • Paper appeared (Paper I or Paper II)
  • Subject name
  • Marks obtained
  • Qualifying status

Passing Marks for Bihar STET 2025

The qualifying criteria for STET 2025 vary by category:

  • General Category: 50%
  • OBC: 45.5%
  • Extremely Backward Class (EBC): 42.5%
  • SC/ST, Women, and Differently-Abled Candidates: 40%

Only candidates securing the minimum qualifying marks will be considered STET-qualified.

About the Examination

The Bihar STET 2025 examination was conducted between October 14 and November 16, 2025, in multiple phases. The exam was held in computer-based mode with multiple-choice questions and no negative marking.

  • Paper I: For candidates aspiring to teach Classes 9 and 10
  • Paper II: For candidates aspiring to teach Classes 11 and 12
