New Delhi: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has released a short notification for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 10, offering crucial information for aspiring candidates from the medical field. The detailed notification is expected to be published soon on the official website aiimsexams.ac.in.
The NORCET 10 examination will be conducted in two stages—Prelims and Mains—scheduled for April 2026.
Important Dates:
- Application Start Date: 24 February 2026
- Application End Date: 16 March 2026
- Stage I NORCET Prelims: 11 April 2026 (Saturday)
- Stage II NORCET Mains: 30 April 2026 (Thursday)
Eligibility Criteria:
- Age: 18–30 years (relaxation as per government norms for reserved categories)
- Qualification:
- B.Sc (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc Nursing from an Indian Nursing Council (INC) or State Nursing Council-recognized institute
- B.Sc (Post Certificate) / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing with registration as a Nurse & Midwife with INC or State Nursing Council
- Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) from an INC or State-recognized institute with Nurse & Midwife registration
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in a hospital with at least 50 beds
Salary and Selection Process:
- Pay Band: PB-2 (₹9,300–34,800) with Grade Pay ₹4,600
- Selection Process: Prelims Exam → Mains Exam → Document Verification → Medical Examination
Application Fees:
- General / OBC: ₹3,000
- SC / ST / EWS: ₹2,400
- PwBD: No fee
