Ayodhya Braces for Cold Wave: Ram Lalla Bathed with Lukewarm Water, Heater Installed in Sanctum
As severe winter grips Ayodhya, special arrangements have been made at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple to protect Lord Ram Lalla from the biting cold. In view of the falling temperatures during mornings and evenings, the deity is now being bathed with lukewarm water, while heaters have been installed inside the sanctum sanctorum.
According to temple priests, Ram Lalla is also covered with a quilt at night to ensure warmth. The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has instructed priests and temple staff to take additional precautions so that seasonal changes do not affect the daily rituals and divine service.
