Saharanpur: A tragic incident in Saharanpur’s Chhutmalpur town has brought to light the devastating impact of prolonged family discord, after a 20-year-old D-Pharma student allegedly died by suicide. The young man’s death not only shattered the family but also triggered a bitter confrontation between his estranged parents, even over his final rites.
The deceased, identified as Vansh, was the only son of the couple and lived with his mother Rita Rani and two sisters in a rented room in Chhutmalpur’s New Basti area. On Saturday morning, Vansh followed his usual routine—he bathed, got dressed, dropped his younger sister at tuition, and returned home.
