Suraj Maurya, Aligarh: In the high-profile Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) teacher murder case, the police have announced a reward of ₹50,000 each for information leading to the capture of the three fugitive shooter brothers. The Aligarh police have intensified their search, extending operations as far as Delhi.
The victim, Rao Danish Ali, an AMU faculty member, was shot dead on the evening of 24 December near the library canteen while taking a walk after dinner. The shooters were identified as Yasir, Fahad, and Zubair, notorious history-sheeter brothers originally from Okhla, Delhi. A co-conspirator named Salman has already been arrested and sent to jail.
