First Winter Showers Hit Rajasthan; Jaipur and 10 Districts on Alert, Cold to Intensify
Jaipur: Rajasthan’s weather has taken a turn as the first winter showers of the season arrive, bringing a chill across the state. Light to moderate rainfall has been reported since early morning in Jaipur, Alwar, Nagaur, and seven other districts. The Meteorological Department has issued alerts for 27–28 November, predicting further rains and a drop in temperatures across several regions.
Heavy Cold Expected Amid RainThe state is entering a period of intense cold as the winter rain, or mawath, sets in. Showers began late Thursday night in several districts and are accompanied by gusty, chilly winds, increasing the cold’s impact. The rain is expected to continue into Friday evening, intensifying the winter chill.
