A tragic road accident on National Highway-125 (Jodhpur–Pokaran road) in the Setrawa area of Phalodi claimed the lives of a grandfather and his grandson after a high-speed Maruti Suzuki Alto suffered a tyre burst and collided head-on with an oncoming Kia car on Saturday. The accident occurred near Bawkan Talab when the Alto, travelling at a high speed, reportedly attempted sudden braking. During this maneuver, one of its front tyres burst, causing the vehicle to lose control and veer into the wrong lane, where it crashed violently into a Kia coming from the opposite direction.
