Jaipur: A shocking incident has emerged from Jaipur’s Nahri ka Bas area, where a government school teacher, Mukesh Jangid, died by suicide allegedly due to excessive workload linked to the ongoing SIR (Special Intensive Revision) voter-list process. A suicide note was recovered from his pocket, prompting widespread outrage among teacher unions.
According to officials, teachers in Rajasthan have been assigned duties as BLOs (Booth Level Officers) for the SIR process, significantly increasing their workload. Mukesh, posted at the Government Primary School, Nahri ka Bas, was reportedly under immense pressure to complete BLO tasks on time.
