SAD Leader Bikram Singh Majithia Released from Nabha Jail on Bail in DA Case

Patiala | February 3: Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Bikram Singh Majithia walked out of New Nabha Jail on Tuesday after the Supreme Court granted him bail in a disproportionate assets (DA) case. Majithia, who had been in custody for seven months, was arrested from his Amritsar residence on June 25 last year by the Punjab Vigilance Bureau. The case alleges that he was involved in laundering Rs 540 crore of drug-related money. The release marks a significant development in the high-profile case, which has been closely watched in Punjab’s political circles.

Social Worker Rakesh Jain Honoured with ‘Award of Honor’ by National Career Service Centre for Differently Abled

Adding another accolade to his name, he was today felicitated with the ‘Award of Honor’ by the National Career Service Centre for Differently Abled (NCSC-DA), Ludhiana Unit, operating under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.
