Ghaziabad’s air has once again turned poisonous, with the Air Quality Index (AQI) reaching a dangerous level of 368 — categorized as “very poor.” The city is blanketed in a toxic mix of smog and dust, making it difficult for residents to even breathe. Doctors have urged people to step outdoors only if absolutely necessary — and to wear N-95 masks for protection.
According to experts, the concentration of PM 2.5 particles in the air poses a serious health risk, especially to children, the elderly, and asthma patients. Medical professionals have advised residents to avoid morning walks and outdoor exercise, suggesting that they work out indoors instead.
