Delhi Police Cracks ₹20 Lakh Mobile Heist in 24 Hours: Fake Robbery Story Exposed
**New Delhi: In a swift operation, Delhi Police unraveled a ₹20 lakh mobile phone heist within 24 hours, arresting four accused involved in staging a fake armed robbery. The incident took place near the Vikas Marg flyover, involving a courier boy, and the case was initially registered at Shahdara’s Shakarpur police station.
Courier Boy Claims Armed Loot
According to the police, the complainant Ashish Kumar, working as a courier boy, reported that while delivering high-end mobile phones to Karol Bagh, he was allegedly stopped by two men on another scooter near Vikas Marg flyover. He claimed they threatened him with a gun and stole a backpack containing 25 mobile phones—including 14 iPhone 17s and 10 OnePlus phones—valued at approximately ₹20 lakh.
