Farmers Stage Sit-In at Car Showroom in Ghaziabad, Demand Replacement for Defective Vehicle
Ghaziabad (Vibhu Mishra): A group of farmers created a stir at a car showroom on Meerut Road after the management allegedly refused to replace a defective vehicle. The farmers staged a sit-in, laying down charpoys, cooking meals on-site, and demanding a brand-new car.
Police were called to the showroom following reports of the protest. ACP Nandgram Upasana Pandey arrived at the scene and attempted to negotiate with the farmers. However, the delegation, led by District President Bijendra Singh, refused to budge. They insisted that the protest would continue until the defective car was replaced. ACP Pandey eventually left without a resolution.
