Bihar: Woman Locks Herself in Moving Train’s Toilet After 30–40 Men Force Their Way into Reserved Coach
A terrifying incident aboard the Jaynagar–Manihari (15284) Janki Express on Wednesday has raised serious questions about passenger safety on Indian Railways. A woman travelling alone in a reserved sleeper coach was forced to lock herself inside the train’s toilet after 30 to 40 men allegedly barged into the compartment without valid sleeper tickets.
Journey Turns Into Nightmare
According to officials, the woman had boarded the train with a valid reservation and was seated on her designated berth. The situation worsened when the train halted at Katihar Junction, under the Northeast Frontier Railway zone. At this point, a large group of men reportedly forced themselves into the reserved sleeper coach, despite not having appropriate tickets.
