Eight Trains, Including Swarnarekha Express, to Operate from Adityapur Instead of Tatanagar
In a major boost to rail connectivity in the Jamshedpur–Adityapur region, the South Eastern Railway has approved shifting the terminal operations of eight passenger trains from Tatanagar Railway Station to Adityapur Railway Station. An official notification to this effect has been issued by the railway authorities.
The decision fulfills a long-pending demand of local residents and passengers and is expected to significantly enhance the importance of Adityapur station while easing congestion at Tatanagar.
Improved Convenience for Passengers
As per the notification, trains that were earlier originating and terminating at Tatanagar will now begin and end their journeys at Adityapur. This move will provide direct convenience to passengers from Adityapur, Gamharia, and surrounding area...
