Five-Day Winter Session of Jharkhand Assembly Commences
Ranchi: The five-day winter session of the Jharkhand Assembly commenced today, Friday, December 5, at 11 a.m. and will continue until December 11. Prior to the start of the session, Assembly Speaker Ravindranath Mahto convened an all-party meeting to ensure smooth and productive proceedings in the House. Leaders including Chief Minister Hemant Soren, Leader of the Opposition Babulal Marandi, and other senior representatives attended the meeting.
Following the initial condolence references on the first day, the House proceedings will resume on Monday, as Saturday and Sunday are non-working days. Consequently, this winter session will span only five working days.
