Arvind Kejriwal in Rajkot: “Time Has Turned — Gujarat Will Now Choose AAP”
During his three-day visit to Gujarat, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal held an interaction with party workers in Rajkot on Monday, asserting that “the next Mayor of Rajkot will be from AAP.” Kejriwal said that the people of Rajkot had shown strong faith in AAP by giving the party 18% votes in the previous municipal elections, and now this trust has grown even stronger.
Kejriwal launched a sharp attack on the BJP, which has been in power in Gujarat for 30 years. “In these 30 years, Singapore became a developed nation, while the BJP has pushed Gujarat backward. The time has turned now—Gujarat will have a people’s government, where public voices will shape governance,” he said.
