Fourteen months later, police have uncovered the horrifying secret that has sent shockwaves across the city.
The deceased, 35-year-old Sameer Ansari, originally from Bihar, had been missing for over a year. On a tip-off, Ahmedabad Crime Branch officers dug up the floor of his locked home in Sarkhej and discovered human bones and other remains buried beneath the kitchen tiles.
