Delhi Takes Stringent Action Against Pollution: Four Factories Sealed
New Delhi: In a strong move to combat pollution, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has intensified its anti-pollution drive across the city. As part of this campaign, four factories in the West Zone’s Bindapur ward have been sealed for violating environmental norms, contributing to both air and water pollution.
Action Across Delhi Zones:In Shahdara North Zone, 24 individuals were fined for burning biomass, highlighting the MCD’s zero-tolerance approach towards activities that exacerbate air pollution. The West Zone authorities, in coordination with DPCC, BSES, and SDM officials, carried out a joint sealing operation targeting illegal industrial units in Bindapur Ward No. 116.
