Bihar: Police Superintendent to Hold “Janata Darbar” at Local Police Stations
Ara, Bhojpur: In a significant move to strengthen police-public engagement, the Bihar Home Department has directed Police Superintendents (SPs) to personally hold “Janata Darbar” (public grievance sessions) at local police stations. Following this directive, Bhojpur SP Mr. Raj conducted a Janata Darbar at the Nawada Police Station in Ara on Wednesday, addressing citizens’ complaints and issuing immediate action orders to the concerned police officers.
This initiative, part of the SP’s special program “Aapke Dwara Janata Darbar”, is designed to ensure that public grievances are heard and resolved promptly. By personally attending the police station, the SP emphasized the seriousness of the program and the administration’s commitment to citizen-centric policing.
