Four Die in Muzaffarpur Family Suicide Attempt Amid Financial Distress
A heart-rending tragedy unfolded in Bihar’s Muzaffarpur district, where a financially distressed family attempted mass suicide, leaving four members dead and two fighting for their lives. The incident occurred in Nawalpur Mishrauliya village under the Sakra police station limits.
According to police and local sources, Amarnath Ram, a daily wage labourer, allegedly took the extreme step along with his five children by hanging themselves inside their home. Amarnath and his three daughters died on the spot, while his two sons were found in critical condition and were rushed to a nearby hospital by villagers.
