Bihar’s teaching community has received a major boost as the newly formed government has confirmed that 27,000+ teachers will finally get postings in the districts of their choice. The long-pending inter-district transfer requests—submitted before the 2025 assembly elections—are now being processed on priority. Preferred Postings to Be Completed by 31 December According to the Education Department, 27,171 teachers who applied for inter-district transfers will be posted to their newly allotted schools by 31 December 2025.The e-Shiksha Kosh portal will allow these teachers to select five preferred blocks between 24 November and 5 December 2025.
