Jaipur BLO Shares Insights on SIR Work: Not as Difficult as Perceived, Highlights Rural-Urban Differences
Jaipur, Rajasthan: Amid the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise across 12 states, Booth Level Officer (BLO) Savita Swami of Jaipur has shared her experiences, stating that the voter list revision work is not overly difficult if approached with proper planning. She emphasized that working just two hours a day can enable BLOs to complete their target within the two-month timeframe.
Urban Work Easier Due to Compact Booths
Savita, serving in Jaipur’s Sanganer Assembly constituency, explained that any concerns raised about BLO workload in urban areas are largely unfounded. “Each polling booth has roughly 1,500 voters, and a BLO is responsible for only one booth.
