Hemant Soren’s Salary Could Be at Stake! Nishikant Dubey Claims ‘Manaiya Samman’ Scheme Halts Development
Devghar, Jharkhand: BJP MP Nishikant Dubey from Godda has raised concerns over the financial management of the Jharkhand government, claiming that the state’s flagship Manaiya Samman scheme is causing a slowdown in development work. Speaking to reporters at Devghar Airport, Dubey sarcastically remarked that the state’s finances are so strained that even Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s salary could face delays, and the scheme itself might be abruptly halted after March.
The MP pointed out that the Jharkhand government has requested ₹1.36 lakh crore in pending funds from the central government, but the state’s own financial situation remains precarious. “Many schemes are being announced based on the expectation of receiving central funds, yet the economic reality is concerning,” he said.
