Solar-Powered Car: Nissan Unveils Ariya with Hidden Solar Panels
Tokyo/New Delhi: Japanese automaker Nissan has introduced a futuristic concept based on its premium Ariya crossover—an all-electric vehicle that can extend its driving range using sunlight. The car features solar panels on the roof and bonnet, which harness solar energy to charge the battery, providing up to 22 km of additional range.
Solar Panels Keep Charging While Driving:The concept Ariya uses 41 square feet of hidden solar panels seamlessly integrated into the roof, bonnet, and rear. These panels are almost invisible and work without affecting the car’s design or aerodynamics. This technology ensures that the battery charges even while driving in sunlight, offering a glimpse into the future of electric vehicles with improved efficiency and range.
