In today’s fast-paced life, balancing work pressures and household responsibilities often leaves little room for mental peace. Addressing these everyday “micro-stresses,” Nitin Srivastava launched his startup Pinch in 2021, a lifestyle management company based in Gurugram that handles personal tasks for clients, helping them regain time and reduce stress. In the financial year 2024-25, the company achieved an impressive ₹4.8 crore in revenue.
The Idea Behind Pinch
Originally from Lucknow, Nitin studied Statistics at Lucknow University and completed his MBA from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies. He worked in the telecom sector and held senior positions at prominent startups like Chayos and Stanza Living. The idea for Pinch struck during the COVID-19 pandemic while he was working from home in Lucknow and taking care of his parents. After his father had an accident, Nitin realized that distance and career pressures made it difficult for him to manage personal responsibilities, inspiring him to create a service that alleviates such stress for others.
A Human-First Approach
Unlike other concierge services that cater only to luxury clients, Pinch was designed as a human-first lifestyle management solution for everyday problems. Instead of relying solely on an app, each client is paired with a dedicated Lifestyle Manager who directly assists with tasks—from managing household staff and paying bills to grocery shopping and conducting research for major investments. The company emphasizes trust and integrity, allowing clients to confidently hand over their personal tasks and even home keys.
Services for Every Segment
Pinch offers three main service tiers to ensure accessibility beyond high-net-worth individuals:
- Dedicated Package
- Shared Service
- Remote Lifestyle Management Services
Clients use these services to outsource routine decisions and daily chores, with prices ranging from ₹8,000 to ₹75,000 per month, depending on the package.
From Startup to Multi-Crore Success
Starting in Gurugram, Pinch now serves Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Pune. Nitin leads a 67-member team catering to over 320 clients. The startup’s growth trajectory is remarkable: revenue jumped from ₹78 lakh in FY 2022-23 to ₹2.6 crore in FY 2023-24, and reached ₹4.8 crore in FY 2024-25.
Nitin emphasizes that Pinch is not just about completing tasks—it is about helping families reclaim lost time, enabling them to enjoy peaceful mornings, evening walks, or quality time together.
