Launching a company during the COVID-19 pandemic was a significant challenge. Instead of succumbing to the crisis, the couple turned it into an opportunity. As businesses worldwide migrated to cloud-based infrastructure, Melonleaf helped them implement digital solutions. Starting with just four employees, Lalit and Dimpy often worked overnight to match international time zones, offering free prototypes to prove their capabilities and gain clients’ trust.

Initially focused on Salesforce consulting, the company gradually expanded into AI, data analytics, mobile app development, and DevOps services. By 2023, Melonleaf became a Salesforce Silver Partner and has now achieved the status of a Salesforce Gold Partner. Financially, the company has shown tremendous growth. From a revenue of ₹2 crore in FY 2021–22, it soared to ₹7 crore by FY 2024–25. Over 95% of its business comes from international markets such as the USA, Australia, and Europe.
