
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for dense fog in several parts of Uttar Pradesh, including Noida and Ghaziabad, urging residents to exercise caution. Night temperatures are expected to drop to 8.2°C, according to the IMD.
Meanwhile, the air quality in Delhi has deteriorated sharply, reaching the ‘Severe Plus’ category, with AQI crossing 450. On Monday morning, Ashok Vihar recorded an AQI of 500, indicating extremely poor air quality. Residents are advised to limit outdoor activities and take necessary precautions, as air pollution levels are likely to remain high in the coming days.
