
New Delhi: The winners of Wings India 2026 Awards were announced in Hyderabad, recognizing excellence across India’s aviation sector. Delhi Airport was honored as the ‘Best Airport of the Year’, while Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) received the ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ award. Other notable recognitions included Lucknow International Airport in the 5–10 million passengers per year category, and even states with historically lower air connectivity, such as Bihar, received awards for their proactive efforts.

- Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru: Best Airport for handling over 25 million passengers annually
- Pune Airport: Best Airport for 10–25 million passengers per year
- Lucknow International Airport Limited: Best Airport in the 5–10 million passengers segment
- Veer Savarkar International Airport, Port Blair: Best Airport for under 5 million passengers
- Itanagar Holongi Airport: Best Airport under the RCS/UDAN scheme

- Air India Express: Domestic Connectivity Award
- Star Air (Ghodawat Enterprises Pvt. Ltd.): Regional/UDAN Connectivity Award
- Indo Pacific Aviation Pvt. Ltd.: NSOP – Fixed Wing Award
- Pawan Hans Ltd.: NSOP – Helicopter Award
IndiGo Airlines, operated by InterGlobe Aviation Ltd., was recognized as the Best Aviation Service Provider. Cargo, ground services, MRO, fuel services, aviation training, aircraft leasing, and drone technology were also awarded to leading companies like Air India, WFS Bengaluru, GMR Aero Technic, IndianOil Skytanking, and ideaForge Technology Ltd.
