From ₹50,000 to ₹80 Lakh: Mumbai Entrepreneur Leaves ₹20 Lakh Job to Build Healthy Snacks Empire

Mumbai: Dheep Vora’s journey is a remarkable story of courage, vision, and entrepreneurial spirit. A certified financial planner (CFP) by profession, Dheep was earning a lucrative ₹20 lakh annual package. Yet, the desire to create something of her own kept calling. Today, she runs “Hachi With Love,” a healthy snacks brand generating an annual turnover of ₹80 lakh.

Breaking Free from Corporate Comfort
Until 2016, Dheep led a stable corporate life. A turning point came during a marathon when, despite a non-athletic background, she completed a grueling 21 km race. The experience revealed her inner strength and inspired her to take risks in her career. By 2018, she became a regular on Mumbai’s running circuit. One day, while running, she decided it was time to take a leap into entrepreneurship. She resigned from her secure corporate job to pursue her own venture.

Starting Small with Just ₹50,000
After a year of market research, Dheep identified a gap in the healthy snacks sector, particularly in the granola segment. Most products were filled with preservatives and artificial sweeteners. In October 2019, with an initial investment of just ₹50,000, Dheep launched Hachi With Love. The brand started as a quick-service model, offering granola samples to customers and gauging interest.

Overcoming Challenges
As the business gained traction, the COVID-19 pandemic struck. Undeterred, Dheep pivoted fully to healthy snacks. By the end of 2021, she established her own in-house manufacturing unit. Her products—cakes made from ragi and almond flour, and granola prepared with jaggery and virgin coconut oil—earned acclaim for their purity and taste.

Ambitious Growth Ahead
Today, Hachi With Love serves over 3,500 customers and 20 corporate partners, generating an annual revenue of ₹80 lakh. Dheep aims to scale the business to ₹2 crore while maintaining strict quality standards, using glass bottles and relying on organic marketing. Looking ahead, she plans to expand through quick-commerce platforms like Blinkit and eventually enter international markets.

In short: Dheep Vora’s story is a testament to the power of determination, smart risk-taking, and staying true to quality—proving that even a small initial investment can grow into a thriving business with the right vision and perseverance.
