Bollywood legend Dharmendra, who passed away at the age of 89 on Monday, was not only a celebrated actor but also a successful entrepreneur. Fondly known as Bollywood’s “He-Man,” Dharmendra had a remarkable career spanning over six decades, and he also made strategic investments across various business sectors.

Real Estate Investments
A significant portion of Dharmendra’s wealth was invested in real estate. He owned a sprawling 100-acre farmhouse in Lonavala, valued in crores. Additionally, he had several properties in Maharashtra, each worth over ₹17 crore, and approximately ₹1.4 crore in agricultural and non-agricultural land. Reports suggest he was planning a luxury resort with 30 cottages near his farmhouse, expanding his presence in the hospitality sector.

Restaurants and Hospitality
Dharmendra entered the restaurant business in 2015 by launching “Garam Dharam Dhaba” in Delhi, inspired by his on-screen persona and his signature desi charm. The eatery quickly gained popularity. Later, in 2022, he opened another restaurant on the Karnal Highway named “He-Man,” a nod to his iconic nickname. Both ventures reflected his unique style and entrepreneurial spirit.

Film Production House
Beyond acting, Dharmendra owned a production house that produced hit films like Yamla Pagla Deewana, starring his sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. His production house added a significant source of income and strengthened his presence behind the camera as well.

Passion for Luxury Cars
A known car enthusiast, Dharmendra’s collection included vehicles ranging from a classic Fiat purchased in 1960 to luxury models like the Range Rover Evoque and Mercedes-Benz SL500. His collection featured cars valued both in lakhs and crores, highlighting his love for high-end automobiles.
