Company Gifts Luxury Flats to Employees in Unique Incentive Program

New Delhi: Companies worldwide adopt creative ways to reward their employees, but one Chinese firm has taken employee incentives to an extraordinary level. Zhejiang Guosheng Automotive Technology, a manufacturer of automobile components, has announced that it will gift luxury flats to its most loyal employees.

Rewarding Loyalty with Flats
The company plans to gift 18 flats, each valued between ₹1.3 crore to ₹1.5 crore, to its longest-serving and most trusted employees. With over 450 staff members and a total production value of USD 70 million (approximately ₹580 crore) in 2024, this initiative is part of a long-term strategy to retain top talent and attract skilled professionals.

How the Program Works
According to Wang Jiayuan, General Manager at Zhejiang Guosheng, the scheme primarily targets employees who have relocated from other cities to work at the company. The flats, located just 5 kilometers from the industrial area, range from 100–150 square meters (1,076–1,615 sq. ft.). Employees must sign a housing agreement and bear only the renovation costs; after completing five years of service, the flats fully belong to them. This year, five employees received flats, including a couple who both work at the company, gifted a 144-square-meter (1,550 sq. ft.) apartment.

Long-Term Goals
“This program is designed to attract the best talent and retain our core management team,” Wang said. He highlighted that the employees selected for this initiative occupy positions requiring high skill levels, which cannot be quickly acquired by recent graduates. The program is also part of the company’s broader strategy to reduce operational costs while improving quality. Over the next three years, a total of 18 flats will be distributed under this unique housing incentive scheme.
