Crime Branch Busts Family-Run Heroin Trafficking Syndicate in Delhi

New Delhi: The Anti-Narcotics Task Force of Delhi Police’s Crime Branch has successfully uncovered a major interstate drug trafficking syndicate. Three people, including a husband-wife duo and a receiver, have been arrested in connection with the operation. Authorities seized 1,504 grams of heroin, with an estimated international market value of approximately ₹7.5 crore. The Concealment Tactic:Police revealed that the traffickers used an unusual method to avoid detection. Sitamarhi, Bihar: The Bihar government has intensified action against defaulter PACS (Primary Agricultural Credit Societies) chairpersons, recovering large sums of unpaid loans. In Sitamarhi district alone, action has been taken against 33 PACS chairpersons who allegedly defaulted on more than ₹10 crore in loans. No Relief for Defaulters The state government has made it clear that no leniency will be granted to PACS declared as defaulters.
