Tamanna Malik Sparks Debate by Carrying Kanwar in Burqa, Responds to Critics
Sambhal, Uttar Pradesh: Tamanna Malik, a Muslim woman from Badanpur Basei village in Asmoli, Sambhal, has made headlines for carrying out a Kanwar pilgrimage from Haridwar while wearing a burqa. Tamanna undertook the journey with her husband, Aman Tyagi, following the fulfillment of a vow she had made prior to their marriage. The couple performed Jalabhishek on the Shiva Linga at the ancient Kshemanath temple in Naimisharanya on the occasion of Mahashivratri.
