Tata Sierra Bookings Open: Deliveries to Start From 15 January 2026

SUV enthusiasts have reason to rejoice as Tata Motors officially opened bookings for its much-anticipated all-new Tata Sierra in India from 16 December 2025. Deliveries of this mid-size SUV are scheduled to begin on 15 January 2026. The Sierra is available in both petrol and diesel variants, with prices starting at ₹11.49 lakh (ex-showroom) and going up to ₹21.19 lakh depending on the trim.

Variants and Pricing

The Tata Sierra comes in 24 variants, including Smart Plus, Pure, Plor Plus, Adventure, Adventure Plus, Accomplished, and Accomplished Plus, offering a wide range of choices for different preferences and budgets.

Design and Features

The Sierra stands out in the mid-size SUV segment with its iconic design and premium features. Measuring 4,340 mm in length, it offers a spacious cabin and a 622-liter boot space. Key highlights include LED lighting, flush door handles, 19-inch alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof, dual large screens for infotainment and instrument cluster, and a passenger screen for video playback and gaming.

Other notable features include wireless charging, smartphone connectivity, ventilated front seats with under-thigh support and memory function, JBL 12-speaker Dolby Atmos sound system, 360-degree camera, six airbags, connected car technology, and Level 2+ ADAS safety features.

Engine and Performance Options

The Sierra offers three engine options:

  • 1.5L Naturally Aspirated Revotron Petrol: 106 PS power, 145 Nm torque; 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT.
  • 1.5L Turbo Petrol TGDi Hyperion: 160 PS power, 255 Nm torque; 6-speed torque converter automatic.
  • 1.5L Turbo Diesel: 118 PS power, 280 Nm torque; 6-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic.

With its combination of stylish design, premium features, and powerful performance, the Tata Sierra is set to compete with SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, and MG Astor.
