December 2025 saw a significant surge in exports of several “Made-in-India” vehicles. Here’s a detailed look at the top 10 most exported Indian cars for the month.
1. Nissan Magnite
The compact sub-4-metre SUV Nissan Magnite topped the list with 9,268 units exported, showing a remarkable 260% year-on-year growth. In December 2024, only 2,570 units were exported.
2. Hyundai Verna
The Hyundai Verna came in second, with 6,125 units exported, reflecting a 51% annual increase compared to 4,054 units in December 2024.
3. Toyota Urban Cruiser HyRider
Toyota’s popular mid-size SUV, the Urban Cruiser HyRider, recorded 5,164 exports, an 11% year-on-year increase from 4,642 units in December 2024.
4. Maruti Suzuki Jimny
The Maruti Suzuki Jimny exported 4,592 units, a slight 2% decline from 4,699 units a year earlier, placing it fourth on the list.
5. Hyundai Grand i10 Nios
The Grand i10 Nios saw 4,234 units exported, a 4% increase over 4,072 units in December 2024.
6. Nissan Sunny
Although the Nissan Sunny is not sold domestically, it is manufactured in India and exported. In December 2025, 4,202 units were exported, marking a 40% year-on-year decline from 6,988 units in December 2024.
7. Maruti Suzuki Dzire
The Maruti Suzuki Dzire continued to see strong demand overseas, with 3,489 units exported, representing an impressive 518% year-on-year growth from 564 units in December 2024.
8. Hyundai Aura
The Hyundai Aura exported 3,261 units, a 34% increase compared to 2,423 units in December 2024.
9. Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara
The Maruti e-Vitara, an electric SUV not sold in India, remains in high demand abroad, contributing significantly to India’s EV export growth.
10. Maruti Suzuki Swift
Rounding out the top 10, the Maruti Suzuki Swift continues to be a favorite in export markets due to its compact size and reliability.
