
India: KTM has launched its most powerful adventure bike in India, the 390 Adventure R, designed for thrill-seekers and off-road enthusiasts. Priced at ₹3,77,915 (ex-showroom Delhi), the new model is around ₹20,000 cheaper than its predecessor due to the use of tubed tires, without compromising on performance or features.
1. Powerful Engine and Performance
The 390 Adventure R is powered by a 398.63 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder DOHC engine, delivering 46 PS of power at 8,500 rpm and 39 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. A 6-speed gearbox ensures smooth power delivery and excellent handling on diverse terrains.
2. Designed for Off-Roading
- High Ground Clearance: With 272 mm of ground clearance, the bike easily navigates rocky and uneven surfaces.
- Adjustable Suspension: Front and rear suspensions are adjustable and can absorb shocks up to 230 mm, offering superior comfort over rough terrain.
- Large Wheels: The bike comes with 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoked wheels fitted with knobby tires for enhanced grip on dirt trails.
3. High-Tech Features and Safety
- Braking: The bike features 320 mm front and 240 mm rear disc brakes, along with off-road ABS to maintain control on slippery surfaces.
- Smart TFT Screen: A 5-inch color TFT display allows connection with your phone for calls, music, and navigation. It also includes a USB Type-C port for charging devices.
4. Stylish Design and Lightweight
The bike sports KTM’s signature orange-painted frame. The seat height is 880 mm, and the bike weighs 183 kg, making it manageable for long off-road rides.
