
November proved to be a strong month for Toyota in India, with the automaker witnessing significant growth across most of its models. The best-seller was once again the Toyota Innova series MPV, which saw a total of 9,295 units sold, marking an 18% year-on-year increase compared to 7,867 units last November.
Other Toyota models, including the Hyryder, Glanza, Hilux, Camry, Vellfire, and Land Cruiser, also recorded strong sales growth. However, the Taisor and Fortuner saw a dip in their numbers, with Fortuner registering a 7% decline in November 2025 compared to the same month last year.
Top Selling Models
1. Innova: The Undisputed Favorite
India’s love for the Innova continues unabated. With both Innova Crysta and Innova Highcross, the MPV remains the top choice among buyers, driving Toyota’s overall sales in the country.
2. Hyryder: Rapid Growth
The Urban Cruiser Hyryder SUV secured the second spot, with 7,393 units sold, reflecting a massive 52% increase from 4,857 units in November 2024.
3. Glanza: Premium Hatchback Appeal
The Glanza remained popular, with 5,032 units sold, a 32% rise from 3,806 units a year ago.
4. Taisor: Steady Performance
The Urban Cruiser Taisor recorded 3,177 sales, showing a marginal decline from 3,620 units last year.
5. Fortuner: Dip in Demand
The powerful Fortuner SUV sold 2,676 units, down from 2,865 units last November. Despite its rugged appeal, it experienced a 7% year-on-year drop.
Other Notable Performers
- Rumion: Sales remained steady.
- Hilux: Posted a remarkable 122% growth, with 331 units sold.
- Camry: Demand increased 71%, reaching 222 units sold.
- Vellfire: Luxury MPV sales held steady at 86 units.
- Land Cruiser 300: Exclusive luxury SUV sold 55 units, showcasing its premium appeal.
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has reinforced its position as one of India’s top five automakers, with November 2025 sales totaling 30,085 units, up 19% year-on-year from 25,183 units in November 2024. While Innova continues to dominate, new SUVs like Hyryder and Hilux are driving Toyota’s growth in the Indian market, even as the Fortuner faces stiffer competition.
