The Uttar Pradesh Police has launched a new recruitment drive for the post of Computer Operator (Grade A), offering 1,352 vacancies. Candidates can apply online through the official website www.upprpb.in. The application process started on 16th December 2025 and will continue until 15th January 2026. Both male and female candidates are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Candidates must have passed Intermediate (12th) with Physics and Mathematics from a recognized board.
- Additionally, they should have completed ‘O’ Level Computer Certification from DOEACC or an equivalent recognized exam.
- Diploma holders in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or Electronics Engineering from the Technical Education Council, UP or equivalent are also eligible.
- Candidates awaiting results are not eligible.
Age Limit (as on 1st July 2025):
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 28 years
- Age relaxation is applicable as per government norms for reserved categories.
Salary
Selected candidates for the Computer Operator Grade A post will receive:
- Pay Band: ₹25,500 – ₹81,100 per month (New Pay Matrix Level-04)
- Grade Pay: ₹2,400
- Other benefits as per UP Police norms.

- Visit www.upprpb.in and complete One Time Registration (OTR).
- Provide a unique email ID and mobile number.
- Fill in personal details accurately through DigiLocker.
- Create a password and complete the registration process.
- Login with your credentials and apply for Computer Operator Grade A posts.
- Upload a recent photograph and signature as per the specifications (photo must be clear; signature on white paper, black ink, 50mm x 20mm box, in running letters).
- Pay the application fee and submit the form carefully. Incomplete or incorrect forms may be rejected.
