The Indian Army has opened registrations for its prestigious Indian Army Internship Program (IAIP) 2025, offering young aspirants a chance to work on live defense projects while earning a substantial stipend. Interested candidates must apply before 21st December 2025.
This internship provides a unique opportunity to engage with high-tech military projects, including cutting-edge software applications, AI models, military-grade secure applications, and other advanced technology initiatives. Selected interns will work directly with senior army officers and technical experts, gaining hands-on experience in frontend and backend development, frameworks, AI & ML, cloud and networking, GIS, and APIs.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Students in the final year or graduates of B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Data Science, IT, or ECE.
- Postgraduate students in M.Tech AI & ML, Data Science, Software Engineering, or PhD holders in AI, ML, DevSecOps, Software Engineering, Big Data, or related fields.
Internship Duration & Stipend:
The program will run for 75 days, starting from 12th January 2026 to 27th March 2026, in New Delhi and Bengaluru—key centers for the Army’s technology and digital projects. Interns will receive ₹1,000 per day, totaling ₹75,000 for the entire duration.
