The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially announced the schedule for the CA Foundation, Intermediate, and Final exams for May 2026. The exams are scheduled to begin from 3rd May 2026, and online registration will open on 3rd March 2026.
Registration Details:
Eligible candidates can apply through the ICAI Self-Service Portal (SSP) at https://eservices.icai.org. The online application window will close on 16th March 2026. Candidates can submit forms with a late fee of ₹600 until 19th March 2026. A correction window for making changes in the application will be available from 20th to 22nd March 2026.
Exam Schedule – May 2026:
- CA Final:
- Group 1: 2, 4, and 6 May 2026
- Group 2: 8, 10, and 12 May 2026
- CA Intermediate:
- Group 1: 3, 5, and 7 May 2026
- Group 2: 9, 11, and 13 May 2026
- CA Foundation: 14, 16, 18, and 20 May 2026
Exam Timings:
- Foundation Paper 1 & 2: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (3 hours)
- Foundation Paper 3 & 4: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM (2 hours)
- Intermediate & Final Papers 1–5: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM (3 hours)
- Final Paper 6: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM (4 hours)
Candidates will receive an additional 15 minutes reading time for all papers except Foundation Paper 3 & 4. Students can choose to write their exams in English or Hindi, depending on their preference.
