Ahead of Ram Temple Flag Hoisting, Akhilesh Yadav’s Cryptic Post Sparks Buzz — Will He Finally Visit Ayodhya

Lucknow:
Just hours before the grand flag-hoisting ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav sparked a fresh political debate with a thought-provoking social media post. Yadav has not visited the Ram Temple even once since its inauguration, a point frequently raised by his political opponents.

Akhilesh’s Post Hints at a Possible Future Visit

On his X handle, Akhilesh Yadav wrote:
“Completeness leads to completeness. Once the ‘Shri Kedhareshwar Mahadev Temple’ being built in Etawah is completed with divine inspiration, I will also fulfil the vow of visiting other temples.”

He added:
“Faith is an energy that fills life with positivity and harmony. For divine darshan, it is God’s will that creates the path — it is He who calls. We all merely walk on the path created by the divine. Stay faithful, stay positive.”

His remarks are being interpreted by many as a subtle indication that a visit to the Ram Temple in Ayodhya may indeed be on the cards.

Why the Questions Around His Ayodhya Visit?

Akhilesh has been repeatedly questioned for not visiting the Ram Temple.
In a recent interview, he clarified that he would visit with his family once the entire temple complex is fully completed.

Ayodhya SP MP Claims He Was Not Invited

Adding to the controversy, Ayodhya’s Samajwadi Party MP Awadhesh Prasad alleged that he had not been invited to the November 25 ceremony. He said that had he received an invitation, he would have walked barefoot to the temple.

Kedarnath-Style Temple Rising in Etawah

Notably, Akhilesh Yadav is personally overseeing the construction of the Kedhareshwar Mahadev Temple in his hometown Etawah, designed on the lines of the Kedarnath shrine.
He frequently shares updates and videos of the temple’s progress and has visited the construction site several times with his family.

Akhilesh’s latest post — arriving just before a major religious event in Ayodhya — has once again stirred political curiosity. Many are now wondering whether the SP chief will soon make his long-awaited visit to the Ram Temple.
